1991 October Sardinia Trek across the GR20. My first expedition. the weather closed in and cut it short a few days but an excellent trek with great people.

The hut we stayed in for a few days when we were cut off by the rising water, so we couldn't cross the rivers in either direction.

1997 November - Nepal

1997 November - Nepal. Taking a bus to the start of the trek. Had to swap buses when there was a breakdown on the single lane road between mountains, no way to pass, so swapped with a bus the other side of the breakdown, turned around and continued.

Great views of the mountains, reached minus 40 degrees at night at the summit. Days were warm though.
